FRISCO, TEXAS - The Frisco RoughRiders, the Double-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers, are back on Fox Sports Southwest on Saturday night, May 7. RoughRiders broadcaster Nathan Barnett will be joined on the broadcast by Rangers Senior Director of Player Development Mike Daly as the RoughRiders take on the Midland RockHounds (Oakland Athletics). Air time is 7 p.m.
Daly, in his tenth season with the Texas Rangers, in his second season as the Senior Director of Player Development. In his current role, Daly oversees all elements of the Rangers player development system, including the organizations six minor league affiliates. In his previous role with the Rangers as the Director of International Scouting, he oversaw the signings of former RoughRiders Hanser Alberto, Jorge Alfaro, Rougned Odor, and Nomar Mazara.
The game on Saturday night is the second of the eight-game slate for the Riders on Fox Sports Southwest, the second-largest in market size and viewership in the FSN group and the television home of the Texas Rangers, Dallas Mavericks, and Dallas Stars.
