Peoria, IL (January 18, 2006) - General Manager of Hockey Operations Kevin McDonald of the Peoria Rivermen, the proud primary affiliate of the St. Louis Blues, announced today that the Blues have returned center Jay McClement (muh-KLEHM-ehnt) on loan to the Peoria Rivermen and recalled right wing Jon DiSalvatore (dih-SAL-vuh-TOHR) from his loan to Peoria.
McClement, 22, returns to the Rivermen after one previous stint with Peoria this season from November 26 to December 5, 2005. In six American Hockey League (AHL) outings during that time, the 6-1, 199-pound pivot scored three goals, picked up three assists, drew two penalty minutes, and registered 12 shots on goal.
