Konsorada Reassigned to Dayton

Syracuse, NY (January 19, 2006) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that Columbus has reassigned right wing Tim Konsorada to Dayton (ECHL). The team also announced that they have released left wing Scott Cameron from his professional tryout contract.

Konsorada, 21, has appeared in 14 games with Syracuse this season, tallying three goals, two assists and seven penalty minutes. In 22 games with Dayton this season, Konsorada has recorded 8 goals, 18 assists and 4 penalty minutes. A native of Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, Konsorada was selected by Columbus in the sixth round, 168th overall, in the 2002 Entry Draft.

Cameron, 24, appeared in one game with Syracuse this season, recording two penalty minutes. In 35 games with Dayton this season, Cameron recorded 16 goals, 25 assists and 31 penalty minutes. A native of Valley East, Ontario, Cameron appeared in 13 games with Syracuse during the 2003-04 season, recording four goals, three assists and six penalty minutes.

The Crunch hosts Cleveland on Friday, January 20 and Saturday, January 21.
