(SUGAR LAND, Texas) - Ronnie Dawson went 4-for-5 with a home run and five RBIs in the Sugar Land Skeeters' 9-8 win over the Oklahoma City Dodgers on Thursday night at Constellation Field.

Dawson opened the bottom of the first with a home run to right field, his third of the season. It was the Skeeters' second leadoff home run of the year. Dawson added RBI singles in the second and fourth, and a two-run single in the fifth. Dawson's five RBIs are the most in a single game for the Skeeters since Jake Meyers drove in five runs on June 20 in El Paso.

Oklahoma City notched four runs in the sixth inning on a three-run triple from Tony Wolters and a wild pitch, scoring Wolters a batter later. The Dodgers added a pair in the ninth on a two-run home run from Zach Reks.

Miguelangel Sierra delivered an RBI single in the fourth, helping the Skeeters jump out to a 9-2 lead through five innings.

Skeeters starter Brandon Bielak struck out six batters through three innings, allowing two runs on six hits without a walk. Shawn Dubin followed him and received the win after surrendering two runs, without allowing a hit, through 2 1/3 innings. Ronel Blanco notched his 15th save of the year, which ranks second in Triple A West. Josh James and Riley Ferrell each tossed scoreless and hitless innings of relief.

The Skeeters and Dodgers continue their six-game series at 7:05 p.m. on Friday at Constellation Field. Right-hander Hunter Brown is set to square off against right-hander Ryan Pepiot.
