ORLANDO, Fla. - The Orlando Solar Bears, proud affiliate of the NHL's Toronto Maple Leafs and AHL's Toronto Marlies, have announced that forward Jack Rodewald has been recalled to the Toronto Marlies.

Rodewald, 21, has scored 16 points (4g-12a) and added 11 penalty minutes in 22 games with Orlando this season. The rookie forward heads to Toronto for the second time this season after being recalled previously on Nov. 28, during which time he suited up in one game with the Marlies before being returned to Orlando on Nov. 30.

Orlando resumes its six-game road trip on Wednesday, Dec. 16, as the Solar Bears face the Florida Everblades at 7:30 p.m. at Germain Arena as part of the Wawa Sunshine Cup Series. Be sure to tune into the game at iHeartSolarBears.com or watch via ECHL.TV.

The Solar Bears return to host the Everblades as they continue their fourth season in the ECHL, presented by Auto Justice Attorney Michael T. Gibson, P.A. on Sunday, Dec. 27 at 6:00 p.m. at the Amway Center.
