TONIGHT'S MATCHUP: is the second game in a home and away series between divisional rivals Adirondack and Manchester, the fourth of 14 scheduled meetings this season. Adirondack and Manchester last faced each other on Saturday as Adirondack lost in overtime to the Monarchs 4-3. The Thunder will play their third game in as many days, coming off of their second home loss of the season. Adirondack is now three points behind Manchester in the East Division standings.

LOOK OUT FOR LOMBERG: Ryan Lomberg collected three points in Adirondack's last game against Manchester. Lomberg's two assists and one goal left him with 12 points in as many games played with the Thunder. He is now tied for third on the active roster in goals scored.

SHOTS HEARD ROUND THE WORLD: Thunder center Mitchell Heard hit the double digit mark on Saturday for assists on the season picking up his 9th and 10th. Heard is now tied with Michael Kirkpatrick for the team lead in total points. Heard hasn't avoided aggressive play either, as he has collected 71 penalty minutes this season.

HOW YOU FINISH: Although it wasn't on full display in their last game against Manchester, the Thunder now rank third overall in the ECHL in shots allowed in the final period with 175. Adirondack has also allowed only 15 third period goals this season, putting them among one of the best teams in the league at preventing late scoring.

YOUTHS OF THE MONARCH(Y): The Manchester Monarchs are not only leading the East Division currently, but they possess one of the most potent rookie classes in the league. Zach Larraza and Matt Leitner both rank in the top 8 in ECHL rookie scoring. Larraza leads all rookies in goals while Leitner leads in assists.
