The IceHogs set a franchise record Sunday, winning their 15 road game with 17 games remaining away from Rockford. The previous mark, 14, was set during the 1999-00 season.

The Hogs 10 wins in January also set a franchise record for most wins in a month.

Rockford clinched a winning month for the fourth month in row. Before this season, the IceHogs had not accomplished back-to-back winning months.

During the IceHogs past seven games, their penalty kill has stopped 87.5% of the opposition's power play opportunities. The Hogs have the UHL's top penalty kill on the road, stopping 87.1% of the power plays.

Coming into the weekend the IceHogs led the league in goals against average and then lowered the standard to 2.53 goals per game after the three game weekend.

Winger Eric Labelle leads the UHL with 325 penalty minutes and 25 major penalties. Labelle currently holds the IceHogs single season PIM record and ranks third on the Hogs all-time list.

Hot Hog: Week 16
