The Kelowna Rockets announced today that they have traded Jack Cowell to the Kootenay Ice.

In exchange for Cowell, the Rockets acquire a third-round pick in the 2020 WHL Bantam Draft

"Our team is in a situation where we're working toward the Memorial Cup, were aiming to acquire as many assets as possible," said General Manager, Bruce Hamilton. "The Kelowna Rockets would like to thank Jack for his service, we wish him all the best in the future."

The 6'2, 189lb winger was listed by the Kelowna Rockets in 2016.

In 26 games played this season with the Rockets, the Winnipeg, MB native has recorded five points (2G,3A) and 26 penalty minutes as well as a -5 +/- rating.
