Tonight...
The BC road trip continues tonight as the Blades head into Kamloops for game #4. Saskatoon is 2-1 on the trip so far; the final stop is Saturday in Kelowna. Saskatoon will look to build off Wednesday's 2-1 win in Victoria and maintain 2nd place in the Eastern Conference. The Blades come in with a 16-9-2-0 record for 34 points while the Blazers are 9-11-1-1 with 20 points.
On the road this season, the Blades are 10-5-1-0... the Blazers are 2-6-1-0 at home. Saskatoon also holds the advantage in special teams with a combined success rate of 101.6%...Kamloops is 99.3%.
Newly acquired d-man Nolan Kneen returns to take on his former club as does Dawson Davidson. Kneen was acquired on Monday in exchange for Jackson Caller and 2 draft picks; Kneen played 216 regular season games with the Blazers. Davidson was traded to Regina back in December 2016... he played 124 games with the Blazers, this is his first game back in Kamloops since then.
The last game...
Kristian Roykas-Marthinen (8) and Zach Huber (5) scored in a 2-1 win Wednesday night in Victoria over the Royals. Dorrin Luding stopped 30/31 shots faced to earn 1st star honours and his 3rd win of the season.
The Blazers last played on Saturday in Spokane when they lost 3-1 to the Chiefs. Brodi Stuart had the lone goal... Dylan Ferguson (19saves) and Dylan Garand (5saves) split the duties in goal.

Gary Haden has 3 assists in 3 games on the road trip, Kristian Roykas-Marthinsen has 2 goals in his last 3 games... Max Gerlach has 2 goals and an assist on the road trip and Kirby Dach leads the Blades in scoring with 41 points in 27 games.
