Rock Cats Hit 200,000 Attendance Mark On Earliest Opening In Franchise History

New Britain Rock Cats News Release

The New Britain Rock Cats of the Eastern League attracted 4,176 patrons to New Britain Stadium this afternoon and, in so doing, surpassed the 200,000 Attendance mark on the earliest Opening (#36) in franchise history. With today's attendance added to the total number of fans who had already turned out to see Rock Cats Baseball in 2011, the club's Total Attendance through 36 Opening is now 202,416.

The previous fastest Opening to 200,000 was recorded just last year when the milestone was eclipsed in the franchise's 37th home Opening.
