Rochester Red Wings Reinstate Outfielder Rene Tosoni from 7-Day DL

ROCHESTER, NY - The Rochester Red Wings today reinstated outfielder Rene Tosoni from the 7-Day Disabled List. The club has also placed third baseman Michael Hollimon on the 7-Day DL with a right elbow contusion. Catcher Drew Butera today was recalled by the Minnesota Twins as well.

Tosoni missed the last 21 games with a lacerated left ring finger. He sustained the injury while sliding into home on a safety squeeze attempt during the home opener, April 7 vs. Buffalo (Mets). Tosoni went 1-for-9 (.111) with a double, RBI, walk, and run scored before the setback.

Hollimon is batting .192 with two homers and two RBI in 17 games. Butera hit .279 with a homer and five RBI in 15 games. He has made a team-high 12 starts at catcher.
