ROCHESTER, NY - The Rochester Red Wings and Empire State Yankees today begin Baseball Month in Rochester at Frontier Field. Here are the details for May 1:

GAME INFO: Rochester Red Wings (RHP Daryl Thompson) at Empire State Yankees (RHP Adam Warren), 7:05 p.m.

HOSTED ORGANIZATION: NeighborWorks Rochester, a non-profit organization that is a full-service housing agency, serving the entire City of Rochester and Monroe County. NeighborWorks assists families looking to purchase their first home through a number of initiatives, loans, and grants.

SPIKES AND MITTSY APPEARANCE: Sodus Middle School (Sodus, NY)

RAFFLE ITEMS: Jason Bartlett autographed bat, Jimmy Key autographed photo, Brian Dozier autographed baseball, Mike O'Connor autographed baseball Bartlett played for the Red Wings for three seasons from 2004-06. He is currently in his second year with the San Diego Padres. Key enjoyed a 15-year major league career, including four seasons with the Yankees from 1993-96. Dozier, the Twins' eighth-round selection in the 2009 draft, is in his first year with the Red Wings. O'Connor is a left-handed reliever for the Empire State Yankees.

Raffle tickets will be sold through the fifth inning. They are $1 apiece, six for $5, and an arm's length for $10. Winners will be announced at the end of the sixth inning.
