Edmonton Road Runners News Release
The Toronto Roadrunners will play four games this week, three of them at the Ricoh Coliseum. The Roadrunners begin the week in Cleveland, as they play the Barons on Tuesday, January 27. The Roadrunners then begin a six game homestand, commencing on Thursday, January 29, when the Syracuse Crunch visit the Ricoh Coliseum. Toronto then faces the Hamilton Bulldogs on Friday, January 30, and wrap up the week on Sunday, February 1, when the Milwaukee Admirals make their first visit to Toronto.
The Roadrunners earned a record of 1-1-1 in back-to-back-to-back games last week. Toronto defeated the Moose in Manitoba 4-0 on Friday, January 23, then dropped a 4-2 decision to Manitoba on Saturday, January 24, and tied the Rochester Americans 2-2 on Sunday, January 25.
Morrison records first career AHL shutout
Roadrunners goaltender Michael Morrison made 24 saves to record his first career AHL shutout on Friday, January 23, as the Roadrunners blanked the Manitoba Moose 4-0. Morrison was named the game's third star.
Winchester earns first multigoal game of career
Roadrunners rookie forward Brad Winchester recorded the first multigoal and multipoint game of his AHL career when he registered two goals in the Roadrunners 4-0 victory over the Manitoba Moose on Friday, January 23.

Jamie Wright, with two goals for Toronto, and Greg Classen, with three assists for Milwaukee, led their respective teams offensively ... the Admirals lead the AHL in goals scored per game, netting an average of 3.10 goals per game ...
