Road Warriors One Hit Patriots in 1-0 Win

Bridgewater, NJ - The Road Warriors defeated the Somerset Patriots 1-0 to end Somerset's five-game winning streak at TD Bank Ballpark on Wednesday night.

Road Warriors starter Luke Massetti (8-11) pitched eight scoreless innings and allowed just one hit and struck out three for the win. Adam Thomas earned his 15th save of the season with a perfect ninth inning.

The Road Warriors broke the scoreless tie with a run in the top of the sixth inning. Alberto Cruz doubled and scored on an RBI single by Marcos Cabral.

Patriots starter Chris Oxspring (3-8) suffered the loss, despite allowing just one run on three hits and ten strikeouts in eight innings pitched.
