The Somerset Patriots will begin a six game home stand on Wednesday, August 31st and host Hurricane Relief Night on Saturday, September 3rd.

In response to the flooding and aftermath of Hurricane Irene, the Somerset Patriots will host Hurricane Relief Night at TD Bank Ballpark for the 7:05 pm game against the Long Island Ducks on Saturday, September 3rd.

All fans will receive complimentary tickets to the game to be able to enjoy a night out with family and friends at TD Bank Ballpark on a first come, first served basis while supplies last.

"This is our opportunity to bring some joy back to those affected by the hurricane and flooding in the area. We are fortunate to be able to provide this service to those that are still dealing with the aftermath of the storm. Our hearts go out to all those still trying to get their lives back to normal during this time," said Steve Kalafer, Chairman of the Somerset Patriots Baseball Club.

The Patriots also encourage fans coming out to the game on Monday, September 5th to help those in their community as part of Hunger Action Night to benefit The Community FoodBank of New Jersey.

Fans are asked to bring a canned, non-perishable food item to the game. The items that are most needed are canned fish or meat, milk (powdered and infant formulas), boxed meals, canned packaged meals, peanut butter, and canned vegetables or fruit.
