
Road Warriors Assigned Three Players from AHL Affiliate

Greenville, SC: The Road Warriors announced today that forwards Andrew Rowe and Michael Kantor as well as goaltender Jeff Malcolm have been assigned to Greenville by the team's AHL affiliate, the Hartford Wolf Pack. The team also announced the release of forward Matthew Kirzinger.
Rowe rejoins the Road Warriors after being called up following the opening weekend of the season. In three games with Hartford, Rowe recorded a goal and an assist. In the opening weekend with the Road Warriors, Rowe tallied three goals and an assist in two games.
Kantor started this season with the Hartford Wolf Pack, playing in four games. Prior to his professional career, the Lake Forest, Illinois native played 56 games with the Sudbury Wolves of the Ontario Hockey League. While there, the 21 year old tallied 20 goals and 13 assists, along with 93 penalty minutes. Kantor ranked fourth on the team in goals, eighth in points, and third in penalty minutes. He was also tied for third with six power play goals. Kantor earned career highs in goals and points during the 2012-13 season with Sudbury.
Malcolm returns to Greenville having spent part of training camp with the Road Warriors. Midway through camp Malcolm was called up to the Wolf Pack to replace former Road Warriors netminder, Cam Talbot, who was called up to the New York Rangers. In his lone game with Hartford, Malcolm gave up four goals and took the loss.
