TODAY'S MATCHUP: After completing their largest comeback in nearly two years on Saturday night, the Cyclones kick off a busy week with a special morning game against the Toledo Walleye. Cincinnati rallied to beat the Fish last Thursday and come into today's action tied for the top spot in the North Division. However, the Walleye sit just one point back. A year ago, the Clones went 3-1-1 during regular season play at the Huntington Center and look to improve upon a 16-16-1-0 mark in Northwest Ohio since 2006.

SCOUTING THE WALLEYE: Nick Vitucci's club responded to their defeat in Cincinnati last week by shutting out the Wheeling Nailers on Saturday night to remain unbeaten in regulation. Kevin Lynch, who scored both of Toledo's goals against the Cyclones, leads the team with four points (3g, 1a) in three games. Last year's Walleye point leader Trevor Parkes has started strong in 2013-14 with three points (1g, 2a) in as many games. Between the pipes, both Mac Carruth and Jared Coreau have seen action. Carruth earned his first blanking of the year against the Nailers this past weekend, running his record to 2-0-0 with a 1.44 goals-against average - a mark that's third best in the ECHL. Coreau, meanwhile, was in net for Toledo's OT loss last week at U.S. Bank Arena, making 27 saves and now holds an 0-0-1-0 record and a 2.92 goals-against average.

About Saturday Night in Fort Wayne: The Cyclones erased a three-goal deficit and prevailed in a shootout over the Komets by a 5-4 final score in front of 8,484 at Memorial Coliseum. Barry Almeida's goal late in the third period tied the game and his strike in round one of the shootout proved to be the game-winner.

Killing Is Their Speciality: The Clones have started the season among the ECHL's best in penalty kill efficiency. They are one of just three teams to have yet to surrender an opponent's power play goal - they are 11-for-11 this season.

Saving the Best for Last: Through two weekends, the Cyclones have found their offensive stride later in the game. In fact, all 12 of their goals thus far have come in the second period or later. Their six third period goals are third most of any ECHL team.
