January 29, 2012 - ECHL (ECHL)
Trenton Titans News Release

GWINNETT, Ga. - A pair of goals by Cody Brookwell and Chris Clackson 1:21 apart in the latter stages of the second period powered the Gwinnett Gladiators (23-12-7-3-56) to a 4-1 win over the Trenton Titans (15-21-3-3-36) Sunday afternoon.

The goals came after the Titans' Dustin Cameron had score short-handed 1:10 into the second period to cut the Gladiators' lead to 2-1 before 4,589 at The Arena at Gwinnett. Brad Phillips took the loss in goal for the Titans.

Pat Galivan scored a pair of goals in the first period, at 2:29 and 11:09 to give the home team that 2-0 lead. Cameron completed a 2-on-1 with Steve Silva to notch the Titans' fourth short-handed goal of the season - second on the road - to out the Titans on the board. Corey Syvret also was credited with an assist.

But the goals by Brookwell and Clackson put the Gladiators in control.

The Titans, who play 11 home games in February, return home to face the Chicago Express both Wednesday and Thursday evenings, and the Wheeling Nailers Saturday evening. Flyers great Bernie Parent will appear Wednesday evening as part of Flyers Family Alumni Wednesday.
