IN JUST A FEW HOURS...

The Elmira Jackals end their four-game road trip when they take on the South Carolina Stingrays at the North Charleston Coliseum, with the puck dropping at 4:00 p.m. The Jackals will attempt to end the week with a victory after dropping two decisions on Thursday and Saturday to the Gwinnett Gladiators. The Stingrays enter the contest after blanking the Trenton Titans at home on Saturday, 2-0, in front of 9,783 fans on their "Pack the House" night.

BACK IN PALMETTO STATE

The Jackals will play their only game in the state of South Carolina today of the 2011-2012 season and their first since the 2011 Kelly Cup Playoffs when they fell to the Greenville Road Warriors in the opening round. Elmira has a 2-3-0-0 record all-time at the North Charleston Coliseum, winning its last game on the road against South Carolina on Mar. 8, 3-2.

BRITTAIN STRIKES AGAIN

Josh Brittain scored a goal for the third-straight game on Saturday, as the second-year pro from Milton, Ont. has five goals with the Jackals in 2011-2012. His goal total this season eclipses his amount from his rookie season with Elmira in 2010-2011, when Brittain scored three goals in 38 games.
