
Rivermen to Host First-Ever Komen Peoria Race for the Cure on Saturday, October 30

Peoria, Ill. (October 5, 2004) â Director of Ticket Sales Wendy Mitchell of the Peoria Rivermen of the ECHL announced today that the team will host the first-ever Komen Peoria Race for the Cure® Rivermen Night on Saturday, October 30.
By purchasing a regular-priced ticket as part of a group through the Rivermen Group Sales Department to the Saturday, October 30 game vs. the Dayton Bombers, the Komen Peoria Race for the Cure® will receive $2.50 of each ticket purchased. Groups of 10 or more can purchase Lower Bowl tickets for $16 each and Upper Bowl tickets for $11 each. All of the evening's activities surrounding the game will focus on breast health education and awareness, and fans will also have the opportunity to sign up for next year's Komen Peoria Race for the Cure® (May 7, 2005) and purchase Race for the Cure® merchandise.
