
Condors Open House Sunday; Colonel Claw'd Marshal in Harvest Festival Parade

Saturday, October 9th - Bakersfield Condors mascot, Colonel Claw'd will be the Grand Marshal at the annual Harvest Festival Parade and Fair beginning at 11:00am. The fair is hosted by the H.E.A.R.T.S Connection Family Resource Center / Network. H.E.A.R.T.S Connection is a non-profit organization that assists special needs children and their families. The fair will be held at Shriner's Noble Park located at the corner of P Street and Belle Terrace.
Sunday, October 10th - The Bakersfield Condors 2004-2005 Open House & Family Day will be held Sunday from 2:00pm - 5:00pm for the first time at the Bakersfield Ice Sports Center. Presented by KGET-TV 17, the Open House is the first chance for the public to see the team practice, get team autographs, as well as skate with the Condors. Admission to the Open House is free with a donation of two non-perishable food items to The Bakersfield Homeless Shelter. The Open House is also the first day that Season Tickets are available for pick-up by season ticket holders. The center hosts a public skating session each Sunday beginning at noon, the Condors will be on hand to skate with fans from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. Fans can bring their own skates, or rent skates for $3.00. Following the public skate the team will take the ice for a scrimmage and skills session from 3:15 - 4:45 p.m., inviting fans to stick around and see them in action. The Condors Slapshot game will be set up so fans can test their own skills, and there will be a clown making balloon animals and face painting for the kids.

The Bakersfield Condors 2004-2005 season is just 18 days away! The Condors will open their second season in the ECHL on Friday, October 22, 2004 against the expansion Victoria Salmon Kings. Season tickets are now available with packages starting at just $30.
