Rivermen Prepare for Weekend Slate

Peoria Rivermen News Release
The Peoria Rivermen prepare for a pair of home games this weekend as the playoff stretch run reaches a fever pitch at Carver Arena Friday and Saturday night!
Friday night at 7 pm the Lake Erie Monsters come to town as does country star Craig Morgan in a Rivermen Concert Event following the game! On the ice Peoria holds a 3-0 season series lead over the Monsters and head into the game one point out of a potential playoff spot in the AHL's West Division. Following the game Craig Morgan will play a full 70 minute concert set for fans in attendance.
Saturday evening the Iowa Stars come to town for one of three battles with the Stars remaining in the regular season. Following the game World Championship Midget Wrestling takes the stage with matches scheduled including a "hardcore" title match and tag team match.
After this weekend there will be just four games left on the home docket for the 2007-08 regular season in Peoria. Playoff scheduling, ticketing, and game dates will be determined in the near future.
