Senators Assign Left Wing Nick Foligno to Binghampton

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Ottawa Senators assigned today left wing Nick Foligno to the Binghamton Senators of the American Hockey League.

Foligno was recalled by Ottawa for the fourth time this season on Feb. 22. In 44 games with Ottawa this season, he has recorded six goals, three assists and 20 penalty minutes.

In 22 games with the B-Sens, the 19-year-old has two goals, 11 assists and 10 penalty minutes. The Buffalo, N.Y. native is expected to be in the B-Sens line-up tomorrow night when the Providence Bruins visit the Arena for a 7:05 p.m. contest.

Foligno was Ottawa's first-round pick, 28th overall, in the 2006 NHL entry draft.
