Tulsa got on the scoreboard first, when Kai Magnussen scored his tenth goal of the season, popping in a loose puck in front of RiverKings goaltender Tyler Sims at 18:41 for a 1-0 first intermission lead.

Mississippi recovered in the second period, thanks to a power play goal from Stephen Margeson, his 12th goal of the year, at the 9:31 mark, with Matt Summers and Martin Gascon getting assists on the goal.

The RiverKings took the lead later in the period thanks to Dallas Costanzo, who poked a loose puck into the net past Tulsa goaltender Davis Parley.
