IceRays clinch playoff spot, tickets on sale now

The Corpus Christi IceRays have clinched a post-season berth in the 2009 Central Hockey League Playoffs and fans can make arrangements to see the only IceRays home game of the best-of-three opening round. The lone IceRays home game of the Southern Conference Quarterfinals will be at the American Bank Center on Wednesday, Mar. 25th, 7:05pm as the IceRays host the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees. Season ticket holders and corporate sponsors can secure their same great seats from the regular season. Individual playoff tickets can also be purchased at all Ticketmaster outlets or at the American Bank Center Box Office. Please contact your IceRays representative for more information at 361.814.PUCK. Members from the IceRays office will be contacting season ticket holders as well with additional information.
The IceRays are headed back to the CHL Playoffs for the first time since 2007 and you can be there for all the action of post-season hockey. The #5 seeded IceRays will take on the division rival #4 seeded Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees in the best-of-three Southern Conference Quarterfinals. The IceRays will open play in Hidalgo on Monday, Mar. 23rd at 7:35pm and then return to the American Bank Center for Game Two of the Southern Conference Quarterfinals on Wednesday, March 25th at 7:05pm. If necessary, a decisive third game will be played Thursday, Mar. 26th at 7:35pm in Hidalgo. The winner will advance to play the Texas Brahmas in the Southern Conference Semifinals beginning next weekend. Playoff tickets are currently available, and individual tickets for playoff games are available at all Ticketmaster outlets or at the American Bank Center Box Office.
