RiverKings' third period rally leads to OT win

TULSA, OK --- The Memphis RiverKings rallied from a 5-3 third period deficit setting up Jason Sessa's game winning goal 37 seconds into overtime for a 6-5 win over the Tulsa Oilers Friday night in Tulsa. The win extended the RiverKings' lead in the Northeast Division to six points over Bossier-Shreveport after the Mudbugs lost at Youngstown.

The RiverKings picked up goals from Brad Wanchulak, Derek Landmesser, Phil Aucoin, Steve Makway, Louis Dumont and Jason Sessa. Dumont's goal, tying the game at five at 14:43 of the third, was a shorthanded goal. Tulsa scored two of their goals while being a man down. The RiverKings led 2-1 after one, with the game being tied at three to start the third period.

Kevin Schieve started and made 25 saves to improve to 3-2-0 on the season. The RiverKings head to Oklahoma City to face the Blazers at the Cox Convention Center in a game that is slated to start at approximately 7:50.
