Saturday, December 12th - BOSSIER-SHREVEPORT AT RIVERKINGS - 7:05 PM

Another battle with the 'Bugs from Bossier that has significant implications in the Northern Conference standings. Two points currently separate the RiverKings from the fifth place Mudbugs in the conference standings. Friends of the NRA Nights, supporting the non-profit group that educates and promotes gun safety, shooting skills, and gun rights. Special night jerseys to be worn by the RiverKings that will be auctioned off when the game is done. A post-game skate for fans will also take place after the game.

Friday, December 18th - RAPID CITY AT RIVERKINGS - 7:05 PM

First of three games this season for the RiverKings against the Rush, currently tied for second place in the CHL Northern Conference. It's Military Night, supporting service men and women of the Mid-South and Tickets for Troops, an organization that provides welcome home experiences to members of the military returning to the Mid-South after serving around the globe and their families. Also Season Ticket Redemption Night, one of a half-dozen designated nights where season ticket holder may redeem unused tickets for tickets to this contest. Drake and Zeke from 98.1 The Max FM will be on hand before the game in the Grand Hall.

Tuesday, December 29th - MISSOURI AT RIVERKINGS - 7:05 PM

Third of three games between the RiverKings and Mavericks, all three in Mississippi. The RiverKings have won both previous meetings, including Sunday's 4-2 victory with Kevin Cooper scoring the game-winning goal in the final ten seconds of the contest. Last chance to see the RiverKings in the 2009 portion of the regular season.

Friday, January 1st - MISSOURI AT RIVERKINGS - 7:05 PM

Bring in the new year with the same opponent the RiverKings hosted to end December's schedule.

DUMONT NAMED CHL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

The Central Hockey League (CHL) today announced that Mississippi RiverKings forward Louis Dumont has been named the league's Player of the Week. The honor covers the CHL games played for the week ending Sunday, December 7th. Dumont earned seven points in two RiverKings' victories this weekend. The veteran forward from Calgary, Alberta, Canada scored four goals in the third period of Friday's 6-3 victory over the Colorado Eagles in Southaven, and added three assists in Sunday's 4-2 home victory over Missouri. The four-goal feat was the first time since last February that a RiverKings' player had tallied four goals in one period of play, when Darrell Stoddard did it against Wichita. Dumont also became the first CHL player for score four goals in a game this season.

BROADCASTS

RiverKings hockey is covered in the Mid-South by the stations of Flinn Broadcasting, primarily Sports56, WHBQ-AM and 96.1 FM "The Pig," WIVG-FM. The Voice of the RiverKings, Bob Bakken, is back in his second season providing the play-by-play coverage. Both games this weekend are on Sports56, WHBQ, and an audio stream of the broadcast is found at www.sports56whbq.com. Fans may also catch the games on the CHL webcasting service, CHL-TV. Simply click the "Watch Live" button at www.riverkings.com and follow the prompts to watch the games on your computer.

Both RiverKings games this weekend, Friday and Saturday against Bossier-Shreveport, will be heard on Sports 56, WHBQ-AM. Air time both nights will be at 6:50 PM.

Fans also find out about the RiverKings on the radio each Monday night the team is in town during the weekly coach's show at 7 PM on Sports 56, WHBQ-AM, and on Bob Bakken's RiverKings Report heard on Wednesday nights at 6 PM on 730 Fox Sports, KQPN-AM.

On the road, Buffalo Wild Wings in Southaven is the Official Watch Party Headquarters, where you can watch the RiverKings on their giant projection screen televisions.

In addition, each Monday night the RiverKings are in town, the weekly coach's show broadcast live on Sports 56, WHBQ-AM will have coach Killer Kaminski and selected player guests at O'Charley's in Southaven. Please come out and support your RiverKings at these locations.

Tuesday, December 8th - RiverKings players will be on hand for a "Meet and Greet" event in person at the Windy City Grille in Hernando, from 5-7 PM. Join the entire roster at Windy City Grille and say hello and get autographs signed.

Sunday, December 13th - Selected players will visit the Farrow Manor Children's Home at 1 PM.

Tuesday, December 15th - RiverKings players are being honored at the Kings Court Booster Club's annual Christmas Party, at Old Style BBQ in Olive Branch at 6:30 PM.

Tuesday, December 16th - RiverKings players will be on hand for a team appearance at Wiseguys, on Highway 51 in Horn Lake, from 5:30-7:30 PM. Fans are encouraged to stop by, meet and greet the players, and get autographs.
