RiverHawks Activate Anderson

LOVES PARK, Ill. - Center fielder Brandon Anderson is back.

The Rockford RiverHawks announced Thursday that they have activated Anderson from the 14-day disabled list. Anderson had not played since June 20 because of lower back and groin injuries.

Anderson, the team's primary leadoff hitter, is batting .223 with no home runs and seven RBI in 27 games. Anderson, last year's Frontier League stolen-base leader, has eight this season.
