Waterloo, IA - The Waterloo Bucks, members of the Northwoods League, have announced that renovated Riverfront Stadium will be the host of "Brew in the 'Loo," a craft beer sampling event that will take place on Saturday, August 24. Running from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm, all of the proceeds from Brew in the 'Loo will go to the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Cedar Valley.

The festival will be celebrating craft beers from the Midwest and will be featuring more than 40 beers total. A full list of beers and participating breweries will be released in the coming weeks.

Brew in the 'Loo will also feature a live musical performance along with a chance for patrons to walk on the Riverfront Stadium field. In addition, there will be a variety of yard games available for festival-goers to play in the outfield grass. Patrons are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs to enjoy the afternoon. The musical act will be announced in the coming weeks.

Tickets for the event are $15 if purchased in advance or $20 if purchased on August 24. Each individual will receive a sampling glass, unlimited samples, and live music. Tickets may be purchased by calling the Bucks' Ticket Office at (319) 232-5633. Designated driver tickets are available for $10.

"This event is going to be one of the most unique tasting events in the Cedar Valley," said Chuck Rowe, CEO of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Cedar Valley. "What other event can you drag out your lawn chair and simply enjoy an evening at the Cedar Valley's premier ballpark where the Bucks play? General Manager Dan Corbin and the rest of the Bucks staff deserve TONS of credit for wanting to put together this event as a way to improve the lives of community youth."

The Bucks return home to face the MoonDogs on Saturday at 7:05 pm for a one-game homestand before returning on the road for a five-day, four-game road trip. Group outings, single-game, and Playoff tickets are currently on sale. For more information, call the Bucks' Ticket Line at (319) 232-5633. All 70 Bucks games can be heard on 1330 ESPN (KWLO-AM).
