WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- The Sacramento River Cats (35-24) beat the Edmonton Trappers (27-31) by a score of 5-3 on Monday at Raley Field. With the win, Sacramento improved to 11 games above .500 (matching a season high).

LHP Mario Ramos (1-1) earned the win, allowing 3 ER on 6 H in 6.0 IP. RHP Justin Lehr picked up his 12th save in the game. RHP Josh Karp (2-4) took the loss, allowing 4 ER on 5 H in 4.1 IP.

C Mike Rose led the River Cats' offense, going 2-for-3 with a two-run triple. 2B Adam Morrissey had 2 H for Sacramento.

The River Cats and Trappers will play the final game of their four-game series on Tuesday (11:35 am) at Raley Field. The game will mark the final regular-season game between the two clubs, as Edmonton is slated to relocate to Round Rock (TX) following the season.
