River Cats extend home winning streak to 10 games with win on Thursday over Las Vegas
The Sacramento River Cats (85-48) extended their home winning streak to 10 games on Thursday with an 8-4 win over the Las Vegas 51s (70-61) at Raley Field. RHP Roy Smith (7-4) earned the win, allowing 2 ER on 2 H in 5.0 IP. RHP Justin Lehr picked up his third save in the game. Four River Cats players had multi-hit games. 1B Graham Koonce and 3B Luis Lopez both homered and had three-RBI nights.
With the win, Sacramento improved to 44-21 in 65 games at Raley Field. Sacramento is a season-best 37 games above .500.
