NASHVILLE, TN - The Sacramento River Cats (45-70) were swept in the Music City on Tuesday night, losing 4-2 to the Nashville Sounds (59-55).

Right-handed starter Tyler Herb pitched well enough to win for the visiting River Cats, who have now lost six consecutive games and 14 of their last 16, but the offense remained cold. They mustered just two runs on seven hits and two walks, while Herb tossed six innings and surrendered only two earned runs. It's Herb's third straight outing having pitched six frames.

Center fielder Gregor Blanco was productive at the top of the lineup, reaching base three times though he failed to score. The River Cats had the bases loaded with one out in the fifth inning but only one runner crossed the plate. They finished 3-for-9 with runners in scoring position and left seven runners on base.

Following Wednesday's off-day, which will be the second-to-last of the season for the River Cats, the club will return to Raley Field for a quick four-game home series against the El Paso Chihuahuas. Right-hander Jordan Johnson (0-5, 7.00) is scheduled to make the start for Sacramento while left-hander Dillon Overton (5-2, 3.12) is slated to go for the Chihuahuas. Additional Notes

- Orlando Calixte's fifth-inning stolen base, his 12th of the year, was the club's first steal since July 29.

- Catcher Aramis Garcia, making his Triple-A debut, finished the contest 0-for-4 with a strikeout. In this 80 games with Double-A Richmond this season, the young catcher hit .233 with 11 home runs and 33 RBI.
