Sacramento River Cats News Release
The Sacramento River Cats (62-39) beat the Fresno Grizzlies (41-59) 10-9 in 10 innings Saturday at Raley Field in West Sacramento, Calif. 3B Luis Lopez scored the winning run in the 10th on a Mike Lockwood sacrifice fly to right field. The River Cats battled back from a five-run deficit and tied the game in the eighth when they scored five runs, the final four crossing the plate on a grand slam by C Mark Johnson.
RHP Chad Harville (3-5) earned the win in relief, allowing no runs on 1 H in 1.2 IP. RHP Manny Aybar (1-3) took the loss for Fresno, allowing 3 ER on 3 H in 1.2 IP. 1B Graham Koonce and Lopez each recorded 3 H for the Cats. Lopez and Johnson both homered in the win.
