Home Run by Reyes in 7th Gives Sox 2-1 Victory

Rene Reyes hit a 2-run home run in the top of the 7th to lead the Sky Sox to a 2-1-victory Friday night in Las Vegas. Chris Michalak (7-8) pitched 6.2 very strong innings allowing only 1 run on 6 hits, striking out 3 and walking 1. Sox newcomer Wendell Magee had another solid night at the plate going 3-4 with a double. Brad Clontz picked up his 23rd save of the season pitching the 9th, striking out 3 batters and allowing 1 hit. The Sox will send Jason Young (5-4, 3.78) to the mound tonight against the 51's Masao Kida (2-2, 4.51).
