Sacramento River Cats News Release
The Sacramento River Cats (67-43) beat the Iowa Cubs (53-56) 6-3 on Monday at Raley Field in West Sacramento, Calif. The River Cats scored all six runs in the seventh inning, after falling behind 2-0 in the game. SS Bobby Crosby and 3B Luis Lopez each recorded 2 H for Sacramento. Crosby led the Cats with 2 RBI. RHP Roy Smith (4-4) picked up the win in relief, allowing no runs or hits in 0.2 IP.
With the win, the River Cats went 7-5 on the homestand. They won three of four games against Iowa and will begin a four-game roadtrip tomorrow at Portland.
