Florence, Kentucky (7/23/04) - There is good news "flowing" from Champion Window Field. Closer Kevin Rival has been purchased by the Milwaukee Brewers organization. The transaction happened this morning and the Brewers took over his contract. Kevin is flying back to Florence today and then will move on his way to their level A team, which he will report to on Saturday. The whole point of this league is to develop players and send them to the next level. The Freeedom team and staff wish Kevin the best as he pursues his career in affiliated ball.
