
Roosters sweep Otters

Evansville Otters News Release
EVANSVILLE, IN â After dropping game one of a doubleheader in extra innings, the Evansville Otters came back to win the nightcap, topping the Washington Wild Things 10-3. Washington won game on 4-2 in eight innings.
With game one tied at two heading into the eighth, the Wild Things plated a pair in the top half of the inning. Evansville was unable to respond and the Wild Things had the win.
In the second game of the evening, the two teams were scoreless heading into the bottom of the third when the Otters exploded for seven runs off of starter Ryan Ewin on six hits. One of the highlight players of the 12-batter inning was Carlos Brackley, who had two hits in the inning.
After touching up Otters pitching for three in the fourth, Evansville tacked on three more in the fifth to cruise to the victory.
In the series finale, Grant Williams will go for Evansville against Eric Holt for the Wild Things.
