Cleveland Barons News Release

CLEVELAND - The Cleveland Barons announced today that center Patrick Rissmiller has been reassigned from the San Jose Sharks. Wayne Thomas, General Manager of the Barons, made the announcement.

The Sharks recalled the 6'4", 205-pound Rissmiller on November 12th. With San Jose, Rissmiller appeared in 4 games without recording a point. The Holy Cross alum made his NHL debut and was the first MAAC product to appear in an NHL game.

At the time of his recall, Rissmiller led all Barons scorers with 13 points (6-7=13) in 11 games and a +5 plus/minus rating. He returns to the Barons with a three-game point streak intact (3-4-7).

Rissmiller is expected to be in the lineup tonight as the Barons host the St. John's Maple Leafs at 7:00pm. The first 3,000 fans in attendance will receive a Cleveland Barons Team Card Set on Ohio Lottery Night. Fans that bring a scratched Ohio Lottery Instant Game Ticket can purchase two $16 tickets for the price of one at the Gund Arena Box Office. Plus, one lucky fan will win the Ohio Lottery Improved View Of The Game. Also, during an intermission, one lucky fan will be selected to participate in the Harpo's Chicken Wing Shootout. The contestant will attempt to make a shot from center ice on an open night to win the entire crowd an order of 12 chicken wings at Harpo's Sports Café.
