HAMILTON, ON - Bulldogs forward Chris Higgins scored just ten seconds into overtime to give the Hamilton Bulldogs a 3-2 win over the Toronto Roadrunners in front of 5,117 fans at Copps Coliseum. The Bulldogs record now improves to 13 wins, 8 losses, 1 tie and 1 overtime loss.

Toronto was the first team to get on the scoreboard as former Bulldogs forward Michael Henrich scored at 11:23 of the first period. The Bulldogs' Jimmie Olvestad evened the score with his 3rd of the season, with assists going to both Gordie Dwyer, and Jonathan Ferland at 15:00 of the first period. Both teams held each other scoreless in the second frame.

The Bulldogs would take a 2-1 lead with just 40 second remaining in regulation time. Eero Somervuori earned his fourth goal of the season. However, only 15 seconds later the Roadrunners evened the score 2-2 as Doug Lynch scored for Toronto with assists on the play going to former Bulldogs Sean McAslan and Chad Hinz.

Higgins would then win the game in overtime for the Bulldogs.

The Bulldogs next action will take place on Saturday, November 29 (7:00 p.m.) as they will host the Rochester Americans at Copps Coliseum.
