
Ringhofer Named Player of the Night

St. Cloud, Minn.- St. Cloud Rox first baseman Luke Ringhofer (South Dakota State) was named Northwoods League Player of the Night Tuesday, following a spectacular performance at the plate.
Ringhofer was 2-for-3 in Tuesday's game against Thunder Bay, driving in four runs with one swing on a grand slam home run in a nine run ninth inning comeback for the Rox. He also drew two walks during the game and scored two runs.
Ringhofer is the third St. Cloud player to win a daily Northwoods League award this season, joining Mark Skonieczny (Illinois) as player of the night honorees, while Austin Caspersen (St. Cloud State) took home pitcher of the night honors.
Matt Shannon (Angelo State) also took home an award this week, being named Pitcher of the Week by Collegiate Summer Baseball after impressing during his debut with the Rox.
