The Kingfish quickly tied the ballgame in the bottom half of the sixth off a sac fly by Matt Hearn (Mission CC) scoring Cal Jadacki (St. Joe's). The resilience by the Bullfrogs was on display again as they took the lead in the seventh inning. Laren Eustace (Indiana) scored on a balk by the pitcher Rigo Beltran (Lynn University) and Marcus Shoemaker (Lenoir Rhyne) score the Bullfrogs fifth run on a fielder's choice by Lees.

The bullpen was once again spectacular for the Bullfrogs. In four innings of work, the bullpen gave up one hit and no runs scored for the Kingfish.
