TODAY: The Richmond Flying Squirrels and Bowie Baysox will meet in the finale of a three-game series...Caleb Joseph hit a walk-off home run in the bottom of the 18th inning as Bowie got a series-clinching win, 3-2, over Richmond on Saturday night in front of 7,017 fans at Prince George's Stadium.

CAR SICK: The Flying Squirrels will try and avoid being swept for the second time this season...The club was swept at Trenton 4/18-4/20...Richmond is 1-7 on the road and has lost its last six road games...The team is 2-4 in series finales and 1-3 in day games.
THE RICHMOND MARATHON II: For the second time this season, the Flying Squirrels set the franchise mark for the longest game in the two-year history of the club, going 18 innings last night in five hours and 27 minutes...Last night's contest bested the previous franchise mark which occurred just eight days ago when Richmond and Altoona went 15 innings and played four hours and 41 minutes...The game was also the longest in Bowie's franchise history, topping the old which was set May 8, 2006 at New Britain when the Baysox played 16 innings in five hours and two minutes...Richmond fell to 2-3 in extra innings as the club has had to play extra frames in five of its last 11 games...The Flying Squirrels lead the Eastern League in most extra-inning games played this season.
APRIL BY THE NUMBERS: The Flying Squirrels finished the month of April with a 10-12 mark...The club lead the Eastern League in staff ERA (2.90); however, Richmond had the lowest batting average in the league (.222) for the month...Last season, the Flying Squirrels went 12-9 in April and led the league with a 2.39 ERA while hitting .244 as a team.
HOME RUN HAPPY: The Flying Squirrels have hit five home runs over their last six games; however, the club is still last in the Eastern League, having hit only eight home runs...Richmond has allowed 13 home runs this season, sixth-most in the league.
K-OSHANKSY: First baseman Joe Koshansky went 0-for-8 last night and struck out a career-high seven times in Richmond's 18-inning loss to Bowie...The 28-year-old has struck out 30 times in 83 at-bats, third-most in the Eastern League...The Flying Squirrels struck out a season-high 24 times last night against the Baysox...The club struck out 14 times over the final eight innings...Richmond has struck out 166 times through its first 22 games, fifth-most in the league.
NOOONAN: Shortstop Nick Noonan has hits in each of his first nine games with the Flying Squirrels since joining the club from Extended Spring Training on 4/21...The 21-year-old is 10-for-42 (.238) with three RBIs and five runs scored while striking out nine times and walking five...It is the longest hit streak of the season for a Flying Squirrels' batter and is the second-longest current active streak in the Eastern League to Trenton's Corban Joseph who has hits in 12 straight games...The longest hit streak of his career is 14 games (5/31/08-6/19/08).
THE GEORGIA PEACH: Second baseman Charlie Culberson went 1-for-8 last night against Bowie and has hits in a season-long six straight games...The 22-year-old has hits in nine of his last 10 games and is batting .341 (15-for-44) with four doubles, a triple, a home run, seven RBIs, and six runs scored...He has walked five times and has struck out nine times over that stretch...Culberson has appeared in all 22 games for the Flying Squirrels and leads the Eastern League with 93 at-bats.
