
RHPs R.J. Alaniz (Calf) and Zach Lee (Groin) Placed on 7-Day Disabled List

MONTGOMERY, Ala. - The Rays announced a flurry of moves on Sunday night, including RHPs R.J. Alaniz (groin) and Zach Lee (groin) being placed on the 7-day Disabled List for the Biscuits.
This is the second time this season that Alaniz has been put on the Disabled List, and the first time for Lee. The former Los Angeles Dodger and San Diego Padre is 6-1 with a 2.53 ERA in 10 starts for the Biscuits in 2018.
The Rays also announced that RHP Cody Hall has been transferred to the Biscuits from AAA Durham, and RHP Brandon Lawson from A+ Charlotte.
Hall, 30, has pitched in the majors with the San Francisco Giants (2015) and Miami Marlins (2016), and was 1-2 with a 2.84 ERA in 10 relief appearances for the Bulls in 2018. Lawson, 23, was 2-5 with a 4.47 ERA in 10 starts for the Stone Crabs in 2018.
The Biscuits active roster is currently at 25.
