
LHP Daniel Lietz Transferred To High-A Florida

PEARL, MS - The Atlanta Braves have made the following roster move affecting the M-Braves roster prior to tonight's 7:00 pm game against the Montgomery Biscuits at Trustmark Park. LHP Daniel Lietz has been transferred to High-A Florida.
Lietz, 23, made two scoreless relief appearances for the M-Braves on May 29 and June 3 but posted no record while issuing three strikeouts and two walks in 3.0 innings. The Chicago Heights, IL native was signed by the Atlanta Braves on May 3 and was added to the M-Braves roster from extended spring training on May 27.
Lietz split the 2017 season between Low-A Lansing and High-A Dunedin in the Toronto Blue Jays organization compiling a 3.92 ERA (26 ER/59.2 IP) with 38 strikeouts and 40 walks in 38 relief appearances.
The Mississippi Braves active roster currently stands at 24 active players and 6 on the DL.
