The Chicago Cubs have announced the following roster moves affecting the Myrtle Beach Pelicans:

-RHP Ryan Williams has been assigned to Low-A South Bend from Myrtle Beach.

Williams did not appear in a game for Myrtle Beach. He made six starts with Short Season Class A Eugene, going 1-5 with a 5.64 ERA. He was originally drafted by Chicago in the 10th round of the 2014 draft out of East Carolina University, where he earned a Louisville Slugger Third Team All-America selection in 2014 as a reliever.

The Pelicans' roster sits at 24 active players, with five players on the disabled list.
