RHP Daniel Webb Reinstated from DL

Chicago White Sox RHP Daniel Webb was reinstated from Chicago's 15-day disabled list today after completing his major league rehab assignment with the Knights. Webb will take the roster spot of White Sox RHP Zach Putnam, who was placed on the club's 15-day disabled list (retroactive to August 27) with a strained right groin. Webb appeared in three games with the Charlotte Knights on his major league rehab assignment and allowed one run on three hits over 3.2 innings pitched. The Paducah, KY native began the season with the Knights and has compiled a 2-1 record with two saves and a 3.81 ERA in 18 games with Charlotte this year.
