Down to their final 10 games of 2015, the IronPigs (60-74) play Game 1 of a three-game series against the fifth-place Syracuse Chiefs (59-74) at NBT Bank Stadium... With a 7-2 loss at Scranton-WB last night, the Pigs dropped the three-game set at PNC Field, 2-1, as well as the 2015 IronRail series against the RailRiders, 10-8. Despite falling to 1-2 on this eight-game road trip, the Pigs have won five of their last eight contests. Since reaching their low-water mark on June 13 (22-42), Lehigh Valley has posted a 38-32 record... The Chiefs -- Washington's top affiliate -- won 9-2 last night to split a two-game set in Rochester. The Chiefs have gone just 6-7 since their season-high 11-game winning streak from Aug. 3-15, which included a three-game, home sweep against the Pigs from Aug. 11-13 (started with seven straight wins against Pawtucket).

RHP David Buchanan (4-1, 3.24) will start for LHV against LHP Richard Bleier (5-2, 3.15).

First Pitch tonight is at 7:05 p.m.
