Raptors reliever Abdiel Velasquez dove to catch the ball but was unable to, and Daza reached on the infield single. Three batters later, after Daza stole second base for the third time, Luis Jean hit a grounder to shortstop that was misplayed by Vela. Reyes and Daza scored, and the Rox were up 5-1 after the sixth.

In the seventh with two outs, Reyes collected his fourth hit with a single off the wall in left. After a wild pitch, Daza got his third infield single to third base, putting runners on the corners. A wild pitch then scored Reyes, and Daza moved to third on an error, as catcher Hunter Redman's throw to the plate was high. Two batters later, Wesely Jones singled in Daza to put Grand Junction up by six runs.

In the bottom of the eighth, Kevin Padlo walked, and Hamlet Marte doubled to put runners at second and third. Reyes walked to load the bases for Daza. The left fielder came up big again with a two-run double down the left-field line to put the Rockies ahead 9-1.

Reyes finished 4-for-4, a triple short of the cycle and scored four times.

Daza went 5-for-5 with four singles, a double and three RBI.
