Today's Game: Bradin Hagens will make his seventh start of the season for Reno this afternoon. The Aces enter today's contest looking for a series victory in Memphis, up two games to one. Ildemaro Vargas is riding a11-game hitting streak and has reached base safely in 15 consecutive games. This will be the final game of the Aces seven-game road trip before returning to Greater Nevada Field on June 13 to take on the Iowa Cubs.

Last Game: The Memphis sun wasn't kind to the Aces on Sunday afternoon. Reno was shutout by the Redbirds despite out-hitting the home team 11 to nine. Left-hander Alex Young earned the first loss of his Triple-A career, moving to (2-1) on the season. Ildemaro Vargas finished the contest 1-for-5, but extended his hitting streak to a season-high 11 games. During that span, Vargas is 15-for-50 with seven runs and five RBI. Cesar Puello led the Aces offensively yesterday, finishing a perfect 4-for-4 to set a new season-high in hits.

Extra Marte: It only took Arizona Diamondbacks second baseman Ketel Marte one at-bat during Sunday's game against the Colorado Rockies to put his name in the team's record book. During the second inning, Marte stepped up and sent a solo shot into the bleachers, giving the D-backs an early 1-0 lead. With his fourth bomb of the season, Marte tied a D-backs record with his 10th straight extra-base hit. He joins Chris Iannetta, Paul Goldschmidt, Luis Gonzalez and Steve Finley as the only D-backs to accomplish the feat. The last player to to do so in MLB was Phillies' Carlos Santana, who did it earlier this season from April 25 to May 9. Since May 29, Ketel has hit five doubles, two triples, and three home runs, knocking in eight RBIs over that span.

Walker, 27, has appeared in 16 games over 2 stints, 14 as a pinch-hitter, batting .125 (2-for-16) with a double, home run, 2 RBI and 3 walks. He belted a 479-foot home run off Clayton Kershaw on May 1 vs. Los Angeles Dodgers, the 10th longest homer all-time at Chase Field and tied for the third-longest home run in the Majors this season (also: Marcell Ozuna on April 3 @ Milwaukee Brewers), behind Franchy Cordero on April 20 @ D-backs (489) and Avisail Garcia on April 3 @ Toronto Blue Jays (481).

Always On: Following his 4-for-4 performance yesterday, outfielder Cesar Puello has found himself number one in the Pacific Coast League in On-Base Percentage. the speedy outfielder is 46-for-140 (.329) in 41 games played.
