From the Notes
Danny's Dynamite: Aces first baseman Danny Dorn launched his second home run of the season yesterday, a 2-run shot off of Jason Lane in the first inning. With the blast, Dorn pushed his RBI total to eight in five starts, tied for most in the PCL with Fresno's Matt Duffy and Nashville's Joey Wendle. He has recorded two hits and and at least one RBI in every game he's started to date.
Vidal to Reno's Rotation Success: Vidal Nuño delivered his second solid start for the Aces, lasting 7.1 innings while allowing just two earned runs on five hits. He walked just one batter and racked up six strikeouts, improving to 2-0 on the young season. Reno's rotation has been nails thus far, combining for a 4-0 record, three quality starts and a 3.06 ERA. Nuño has 12 of the rotation's 29 punch-outs.
That Didn't Take Long: OF/3B Yasmany Tomás earned a quick call to the Majors after being sent to Reno out of Spring Training. He hit .190 (4-for-21) with 1 home run, 1 double and 3 RBI in 5 games.
